President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, received Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The visit comes on the heels of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) officially endorsing President Tinubu for a second term. In a reciprocal gesture, the President recently lauded Soludo’s performance in Anambra, declaring that “Anambra is rising” under his leadership.

Political observers note that the meeting underscores a growing alignment between the two leaders, with both frequently emphasizing that “the progressives are working together.”

However, the development raises fresh questions about the political future of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra, particularly regarding the party’s yet-to-be-clarified strategy and candidate positioning ahead of the next gubernatorial election.
