Dangote Pledges Job Creation, Showcases CNG Trucks at Refinery

President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting the Federal Government in its efforts to add value to the economy, create jobs, and build a stronger industrial base.

Speaking during an engagement at the Dangote Refinery, Dangote expressed appreciation to the Federal Government, the refinery’s partners, its dedicated workforce, and the Nigerian public for their unwavering support. He also commended the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) for mobilising its members to register for the company’s free distribution initiative through the use of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks.

The industrialist used the occasion to showcase some of the CNG-powered trucks currently loading petrol at the refinery, noting that plans were underway to deploy the entire fleet of 4,000 trucks across the country in the near future.

Dangote assured Nigerians that there was no cause for concern over the safety of the trucks or their drivers, emphasising that the country is governed by the rule of law and that security agencies remain fully empowered to protect both citizens and critical national infrastructure.
