The National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) has congratulated the newly appointed Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, on his elevation by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun. The association also commended the immediate past Force PRO, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on his redeployment as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, Delta State Command Headquarters, Asaba.

In a congratulatory message issued by its National President, Comrade Oki O. Samson, who is also the Publisher of Trek Africa Newspaper, NAOSNP described both officers as exemplary professionals whose careers have been marked by dedication, competence, and impactful service.

“We thank the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, for this strategic appointment of CSP Benjamin Hundeyin. The new roles of our outstanding gentlemen officers are well-deserved feathers to their caps,” Oki stated.

Highlighting their professional trajectories, Oki recalled Adejobi’s growth from serving as Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ogun and Lagos States to becoming the Force PRO, where he built a strong legacy of public engagement. He also noted Hundeyin’s steady rise through similar roles in Zone 2 Command and Lagos State Command, which has now culminated in his appointment as Force PRO at Force Headquarters, Abuja.

“There is no gainsaying that the track record of both men will keep shining in these new roles. We pray that God will guide them, protect them, and raise them to greater heights in the service of the fatherland,” Oki said.

He assured that NAOSNP would continue to support the Police in strengthening public relations and amplifying the Force’s achievements.

The statement also highlighted CSP Hundeyin’s academic and professional credentials, noting that he holds a BA (Hons) in English Language from Lagos State University, an MSc in Legal Criminology & Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan, and a Certificate in Civil-Military Coordination from the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Training Centre, Jaji, Kaduna State. He is also an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), a Member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM).

“Congratulations DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi. Congratulations CSP Benjamin Hundeyin,” Oki concluded.
