Primate Ayodele Predicts EFCC Crackdown on Army Generals, Prominent Nigerians, Government Critics

LAGOS, NIGERIA – The Founder an Spiritual Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has prophesied that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will soon launch investigations into some army generals, influential Nigerians, and perceived critics of the present administration.

Speaking during a prophetic service on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the church’s international headquarters in Ejigbo, Lagos, Primate Ayodele warned that the anti-graft agency would intensify its activities as part of a broader move to embarrass individuals considered hostile to the government.

“The EFCC will begin to probe some army generals and prominent Nigerians. They will see how to embarrass those who hate this government. Monies that have been stolen will be traced to different accounts,” he declared.

According to him, the forthcoming actions will not only target alleged financial crimes but also serve as a political tool against perceived enemies of the government.

Primate Ayodele, however, noted that the agency’s operations would also be positioned as an attempt to safeguard Nigeria from wider economic and political challenges.
