Prophet Ikuru Hails Customs CG Wale Adeniyi for Transformative Leadership

Lagos, Nigeria — Prophet Godwin Ikuru has commended the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, describing his leadership as transformative and anchored on integrity, national interest, and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking in Lagos, Prophet Ikuru noted that since assuming office, Adeniyi has rebranded the Customs Service and introduced reforms that have improved operations, strengthened public trust, and positioned the agency as a true partner in national development.

“I have seen a man who understands what it means to wear the Customs uniform. His service of humanity is extraordinary, and he serves with the fear of God. He protects the interests of the people, defends the cause of this nation, and ensures Customs works for Nigeria,” Ikuru said.

He further described Adeniyi as “a hero, an icon, and a visionary,” stressing that his leadership style reflects the values of accountability, transparency, and service to the people.

According to him, Adeniyi embodies the spirit of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu by driving reforms that promote trade facilitation, revenue generation, and border security. He urged officers and men of the Customs Service to emulate his example and remain committed to national progress.

“Customs under his watch has changed for the better. He has branded the Service with efficiency and dedication. Every officer must learn from him because he represents what it means to move a country forward,” Prophet Ikuru added.

He also called on media organisations to highlight the Comptroller-General’s achievements, noting that such leadership deserves recognition and should serve as an inspiration to other public servants.
