Bogije Primary School Gets New Perimeter Fence as Ibeju-Lekki Boosts School Safety

Construction of a new perimeter fence is currently underway at Bogije Primary School, as part of the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government’s ongoing efforts to enhance safety and upgrade infrastructure in public schools across the area.

During an inspection visit to the site, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, expressed satisfaction with the progress of work. Skilled artisans were seen laying fence blocks, setting pillars, and aligning boundary sections—clear evidence of consistent progress and attention to detail.

Hon. Olowa noted that the project aligns with his administration’s SHIEELD Agenda, which prioritizes Safety, Health, Infrastructure, Education, Empowerment, and Local Development.

He emphasized that the new fence will not only secure the school premises but also pave the way for broader rehabilitation works aimed at improving the learning environment for both pupils and teachers.

The chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring that all public schools in Ibeju-Lekki are safe, conducive, and well-equipped to foster quality education.
