InterswitchSPAK 7.0 Premieres November 9, Offers Over ₦35 Million in Scholarships

Interswitch, Africa’s leading technology-driven company dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through innovative solutions, has announced the premiere of the seventh edition of its flagship national science competition — InterswitchSPAK — scheduled to air on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

The 2025 edition will feature some of Nigeria’s brightest secondary school students drawn from states including Kaduna, Abuja, Abia, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Ogun, and others, as they battle for top honors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Now in its seventh year, InterswitchSPAK has become one of Nigeria’s most prestigious academic contests, serving as a key platform for promoting STEM education and nurturing young innovators.

This year’s edition promises 13 thrilling weeks of competition and inspiration. The preliminary rounds, featuring 81 students, will air from November 9, 2025, to January 4, 2026. The top 27 contestants will then advance to the semi-finals, airing between January 11 and 25, 2026, leading up to the grand finale on February 1, 2026, where nine finalists will compete for the coveted top prizes.

The show will air every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. on DStv Africa Magic Family channel 154, with a repeat broadcast every Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. It will also be televised nationwide on the AIT Network every Sunday at 5:30 p.m.
Viewers can join the excitement on digital platforms via @InterswitchSPAK on YouTube, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter) every Sunday at 6:00 p.m., and on LinkedIn (InterswitchGroup) at 5:30 p.m.

Speaking ahead of the premiere, Cherry Eromosele, Executive Vice President, Group Marketing and Corporate Communications at Interswitch, highlighted the significance of the initiative:

This season, outstanding participants will receive scholarships worth over ₦35 million, including monthly stipends, brand-new laptops, and other exciting rewards.

Beyond the prizes, InterswitchSPAK continues to champion a larger vision — building a robust pipeline of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders who will drive Africa’s growth through STEM.
