President Tinubu Hosts Governor Soludo at Aso Villa, Hails His Electoral Victory

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the Presidential Villa.

According to the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, President Tinubu warmly received Governor Soludo, expressing delight at welcoming a long-standing friend of over 22 years. The President also congratulated him on his landslide victory in the recently concluded Anambra gubernatorial election.

It will be recalled that President Tinubu had earlier issued a public message of congratulations immediately after the election, in which Governor Soludo was declared winner with 73 percent of the votes cast by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Governor Soludo and President Tinubu are widely known to share a long history of friendship and progressive ideals, and both leaders have consistently expressed commitment to working together in the interest of the Nigerian people.
