Rite Foods Marks International Men’s Day, Celebrates Contributions of Men and Boys to Society

Rite Foods Limited, Nigeria’s foremost food and beverage manufacturer, has joined the global community to mark International Men’s Day (IMD) 2025, celebrating the achievements, contributions, and positive influence of men and boys across society.

The annual observance also highlights key issues affecting men, including physical and mental health, well-being, and the need for healthy work–life balance.

With the 2025 theme, “Celebrating Men and Boys,” Rite Foods reaffirmed its commitment to building an inclusive environment where individuals of all genders can thrive. The company acknowledged the essential roles men play as fathers, mentors, colleagues, leaders, and community builders—both within its workforce and across the nation.

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Rite Foods Limited, Mr. Seleem Adegunwa, underscored the importance of supporting men as they navigate the pressures of modern life.

“As we celebrate International Men’s Day, we honour the resilience, hard work, and positive influence of men across our workforce and the communities we serve,” he said. “Rite Foods is proud to champion a culture where men feel seen, supported, and empowered to lead healthy, meaningful lives.”

Adegunwa noted that men continue to play critical roles as innovators and contributors to national development, values the company remains committed to recognizing and uplifting.

The Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Ekuma Eze, also commended the dedication of male employees whose efforts, he said, are integral to the company’s growth and industry leadership. He added that Rite Foods fosters a workplace culture driven by collaboration, shared learning, and teamwork, enabling staff to excel and contribute to societal progress.

Rite Foods continues to deliver quality and satisfaction to its consumers—including the male demographic—through its expanding product lineup, which includes 13 variants of Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Table Water, the award-winning Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink, and its range of Bigi Flex, Rite, and Bigi Beef Sausages.

The company’s commitment to excellence was recently reaffirmed at the 2025 Edge Awards, where it received three honours: Outstanding Carbonated Soft Drink Brand of the Year (Bigi Apple), Outstanding Sausage Brand of the Decade (Bigi Beef Sausage Roll), and Outstanding FMCG Corporate Brand of the Year (Rite Foods Limited).

Rite Foods was also named Food Company of the Year 2024 at the Independent Awards, reinforcing its industry leadership, innovation, and strong focus on consumer satisfaction.

With a strong workforce, quality brands, and purpose-driven initiatives, Rite Foods says it will continue to champion excellence while contributing to a healthier and more progressive society.
