SUNU Health CEO, Dr. Patrick Korie, and Rev. Fr. John Okoria SJ Lead Annual Health Walk to Promote Community Wellness
Lagos, Nigeria – The Managing Director/CEO of SUNU Health Nigeria Limited, Dr. Patrick Korie, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, led the company’s annual Health Walk, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to proactive healthcare and community wellness. The event attracted hundreds of participants and featured a strategic collaboration with The Divine Physician & St. Luke Catholic Chaplaincy Centre, LUTH/CMUL, Idi Araba, Lagos.
Rev. Fr. John Okoria SJ, Chaplain of the Centre, co-led the initiative alongside Dr. Korie. His active involvement strengthened the spiritual and communal dimension of the programme, helping to mobilise staff, parishioners, and community members, and ensuring the message of holistic well-being resonated widely.
Dr. Korie, recently named among The Industry’s Top 50 Men of Impact 2025 by The Industry Newspaper, maintained a frontline presence during the walk, encouraging participants to prioritise long-term health and wellness.
The fitness walk covered major streets across Lagos, beginning at Ishaga Road and proceeding through Itire Road, Randle Avenue, Akerele, Ogunlana Drive, and Workers Street, before returning to the starting point. It concluded with an energetic aerobics session and outdoor exercises aimed at reinforcing the day’s message of physical fitness.
Speaking after the event, Dr. Korie emphasised the broader vision of SUNU Health:
