DG of Nigeria–China Strategic Partnership Extends Christmas and New Year Greetings

The Director-General of the Nigeria–China Strategic Partnership (NCSP), Mr. Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, has extended warm Christmas and New Year greetings to Christians in both Nigeria and China.

In his message, Tegbe described Christmas as a season that embodies the timeless values of love, peace, sacrifice, and unity, which he said are essential for fostering social harmony and strengthening international partnerships.

He urged Christians of Nigerian and Chinese descent to draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, emphasizing the importance of upholding these values in promoting peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and shared progress.

Looking ahead to 2026, Tegbe expressed optimism that the coming year would offer opportunities to deepen cooperation and advance the objectives of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Nigeria and China, particularly in economic and developmental initiatives.

He reaffirmed that the NCSP remains committed to translating Nigeria–China cooperation into tangible benefits through strategic investments in agriculture, automotive manufacturing, mining, steel, and energy, in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Tegbe’s message underscores the NCSP’s continued focus on leveraging bilateral ties for mutual economic growth and sustainable development.
