FirstBank MD/CEO Alebiosu Strengthens Ties with Police Service Commission, Reaffirms Strategic Partnership
The Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), DIG Hashimu Salihu Argungu (rtd), mni, received Mr. Olusegun Alebiosu, Managing Director and CEO of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, on a courtesy visit to the PSC’s headquarters in Jabi, Abuja, on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
The visit focused on renewing and enhancing the strategic partnership between FirstBank and the Commission, aimed at improving operational efficiency, staff welfare, and supporting initiatives that promote transparency and ethical policing across Nigeria.
During the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening mutual cooperation for the benefit of the Commission, the Nigeria Police Force, and the wider public. DIG Argungu expressed appreciation for the visit and emphasized the value of partnerships with reputable private sector institutions in building a professional and citizen-focused policing system.
Also present were DIG (Dr.) Taiwo Lakanu (rtd), Board Member and Chairman of the Standing Committee on NPF Matters, and Chief Onyemuche Nnamani, Secretary to the Commission, who highlighted optimism about the renewed collaboration between the two institutions.
The meeting underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in strengthening institutional capacity and delivering results that benefit both personnel and citizens alike.
