SCOAN Reaffirms National Commitment, Honors Late Founder TB Joshua at 2025 Thanksgiving Service

The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has used its 2025 Annual Thanksgiving Service to reaffirm its spiritual and humanitarian commitment to Nigeria, dedicating the event not only to national prayers but also to celebrating the legacy of its late founder, Prophet T.B. Joshua.

Held at the church’s global headquarters in Ikotun, Lagos, the service drew thousands of worshippers from within and outside the country, turning the church grounds into a convergence point of worship, reflection, and national intercession.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua, Leader of SCOAN, expressed profound gratitude for God’s guidance throughout the year and called on citizens to hold firmly to hope.
“In times like these, our anchor remains in God,” she said. “Our prayer today is for His peace, His wisdom, and His mercy upon this nation.”

A major highlight of the service was a special documentary chronicling the life, impact, and global ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua, whose philanthropic and evangelical work reshaped the church’s identity and extended Nigeria’s religious influence worldwide. The documentary drew emotional reactions from worshippers as it revisited his humanitarian missions, international crusades, and dedication to the less privileged.

Guest minister, Rev. Stephen Nbasi, urged Christians to deepen their personal relationship with God through faith, godliness, and total submission to Christ, stressing that spiritual renewal was vital for national transformation.

The celebration featured multilingual praise sessions, thanksgiving presentations, and intercessory prayers for Nigeria’s security, unity, and socio-economic recovery. The service concluded with special blessings for families, church members, and the nation as a whole.

With its 2025 thanksgiving, SCOAN signalled once again that its ministry remains deeply tied to Nigeria’s peace and progress while keeping alive the enduring legacy of its founder.
