The milestone celebration, which attracted old students, teachers and association leaders, was preceded by a special breakfast session with the Set’s former Senior Prefect, Jimoh Ibrahim (popularly known as Teddy). The homecoming-style gathering provided an opportunity for bonding, reflection and the strengthening of ties among members of the Millennium Set.

The event officially commenced with a welcome address by the President of the 2000 Set, Mr. Rotimi Jimoh, who expressed deep appreciation to members and guests for their support and commitment to the set over the years.

Delivering the keynote address, the ACAOSA Global President-General, Abdulfatai Agboola Afolabi, PhD, underscored the importance of unity, collaboration and sustained engagement among old students. He also disclosed plans for a formal global honour for the former principal under his administration, following similar recognitions by the 1999 and 2000 sets. The highlight of the tribute was a lively dance session involving the President-General, Principal Etti and the 2000 Set President, which drew applause from the audience.

As part of the celebrations, invited teachers were presented with awards and cash gifts of ₦100,000 each.
