LSSTF Strengthens Identity Management, Emergency Response With Operational Vehicle Donations
The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has reinforced its commitment to security, effective governance, and emergency preparedness in Lagos State with the donation of operational vehicles to the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Lagos State, and the Lagos State Command and Control Centre (LSCCC).
In a move aimed at boosting identity management operations across the state, LSSTF presented an operational vehicle to NIMC. The vehicle was formally received by the Lagos State Coordinator of the Commission, Mr. Olumide Aremu, and presented by the Director of Administration, LSSTF, Mr. Degbola Lewis, on behalf of the Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan.
The donation, LSSTF noted, reflects its commitment to strengthening key institutions whose functions are critical to national security and effective governance. The vehicle is expected to enhance mobility, compliance monitoring, and overall service delivery for NIMC officers across Lagos State.
Also present at the presentation were Mr. Adedayo Michael, Regional Head of Administration, Lagos, and Mr. Ajibade Olufemi, Head of Inspectorate, Compliance and Enforcement Unit, Lagos West. Officials of the Commission commended LSSTF for the gesture, describing it as a timely intervention that will significantly improve operational efficiency.
In a related development, LSSTF also donated an operational vehicle to the Lagos State Command and Control Centre (LSCCC) to strengthen emergency coordination and rapid response capabilities statewide.
The vehicle was received by the General Manager of LSCCC, Mr. Femi K. Giwa, and presented by Mr. Degbola Lewis on behalf of LSSTF management. The donation underscores LSSTF’s ongoing efforts to enhance security infrastructure and ensure effective emergency response mechanisms in Lagos State.
Members of the LSCCC management team present at the event included Mr. Okobi Francis, Head of Budget and Planning; Mr. Ogundare A. Ayoade, Head of Internal Audit; Mrs. Adeeso Adeyinka, Director of Administration and Human Resources; and Mrs. Abioye Adebola, Director of Mutual Aid.
With these donations, LSSTF continues to demonstrate its strategic support for security and governance institutions, aimed at improving safety, coordination, and service delivery for residents of Lagos State.
