Strength in Partnership: LSSTF ES/CEO Ogunsan Appreciates Donors, Corporate Partners; Sets Agenda for Safer Lagos in 2026
The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has commenced the 2026 operational year with a strong message of gratitude and renewed collaboration, commending its donors and corporate partners for their sustained commitment to the security and stability of Lagos State throughout 2025.
In a New Year statement personally signed by the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Fund, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, on behalf of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Board of Trustees, management, and staff of LSSTF expressed profound appreciation to partners for their unwavering support, which he described as pivotal to the Fund’s successes over the past year.
Dr. Ogunsan noted that the contributions received went far beyond financial support, reflecting trust, shared responsibility, and a collective determination to safeguard lives, property, and the economic vibrancy of Lagos State.
“Your contributions over the past year represented far more than financial support. They reflected trust, shared responsibility, and a collective commitment to protecting lives, property, and the economic vitality of Lagos State. Through your partnership, the Fund has been able to strengthen the capacity of security agencies, enhance operational effectiveness, and respond proactively to evolving security needs across the State,” he said.

Looking ahead to 2026, the LSSTF expressed optimism about consolidating gains achieved in the previous year, deepening existing strategic partnerships, and welcoming new donors aligned with its vision of a secure, resilient, and investor-friendly Lagos State.

He added that in the face of emerging security challenges, innovation, sustained support, and continued collaboration remain critical to staying ahead of threats and maintaining public safety.
“We are confident that, together, we can sustain the gains recorded and respond effectively to emerging security challenges in the year ahead,” Ogunsan concluded.
