Polaris Bank Unveils Global Gift Card Feature on VULTe, Expands Cross-Border Digital Gifting

Polaris Bank has launched a new global Gift Card feature on its digital lifestyle platform, VULTe, enabling customers to send international and local brand gift cards to recipients anywhere in the world within seconds.

The bank said the feature is designed to provide a fast, secure and convenient way for users to share gifts, rewards and subscriptions across borders without the constraints of shipping delays, currency barriers or geographic limitations.

Through the VULTe app, customers can access a broad catalogue of global and local brands spanning groceries, fashion, beauty and wellness, electronics, entertainment, gaming and lifestyle services. The offering allows users to fund subscriptions, shop online, or provide everyday essentials for friends and family abroad.

With the new feature, users can pay for a Netflix subscription in London, send Spotify Premium to a recipient in Accra, gift a Starbucks coffee in New York, or enable shopping on platforms such as Amazon and Shoprite. The process requires customers to log into VULTe, select the Lifestyle option, choose Gift Card, pick a preferred brand, enter the desired amount and recipient’s email address, and authorise the transaction with their PIN for instant delivery.

The gift card catalogue includes major global brands and platforms such as , , and prepaid cards, (iTunes), (Google Play), , (Razer Gold), , , and (PaySafeCard).

Polaris Bank said the initiative reinforces its commitment to digital innovation and lifestyle banking by positioning VULTe as a bridge between financial services and everyday global experiences.

The lender has received multiple industry recognitions, including Nigeria’s Digital Bank of the Year from 2021 to 2025 and MSME Bank of the Year from 2022 to 2024 at the BusinessDay Banks and Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards.
