Eid-el-Fitr: FCID Alagbon Felicitates Muslims, Assures Residents of Security in Lagos

The Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon in Lagos has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid -el-Fitr, assuring residents of adequate security before, during, and after the festivities.

In a statement issued on Thursday by the Police Public Relations Officer of the FCID Annex, ASP Mayegun Aminat, the command congratulated Muslims for successfully completing the holy month of Ramadan, describing the period as one that promotes sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and devotion.

The command noted that the spiritual values observed during the fasting period encourage peace, unity, and mutual respect among citizens, urging residents to sustain such virtues in their daily lives.

According to the statement, the FCID Annex reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property across Lagos, while also intensifying efforts to maintain peace, security, and public order during the festive period.

The department further encouraged members of the public to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station or through established security communication channels.
