Indigo PR MD Bolaji Abimbola Honoured at PJAN 2025 Annual Symposium

LAGOS – Managing Director of Indigo PR, Bolaji Abimbola, has been honoured with a Special Recognition Award at the 2025 Annual Symposium of the Photojournalists Association of Nigeria  (PJAN), in recognition of his contributions to Nigeria’s public relations and media landscape.

The award was presented during the association’s flagship symposium held on Friday, February 27, 2026, bringing together media professionals, policymakers and key industry stakeholders to deliberate on the future of photojournalism in Nigeria.

Abimbola, who also serves as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Indigo Limited, has over 18 years of experience in public relations and integrated marketing communications. Over the years, he has received several professional accolades, including PR Personality of the Year (2019), PR Practitioner of the Year (2020), and a spot on the PR Power List (2024).

Themed “Restoring Our Pride: The Role of Photojournalists in National Discourse,” the 2025 symposium featured a keynote lecture delivered by veteran journalist . The address highlighted the critical role of photojournalists in shaping national identity and influencing global perceptions of Nigeria.

While presenting the award, PJAN Chairman, Princess Alaba Igbaroola, commended Abimbola for what she described as his “visionary leadership, transformative impact, and unwavering commitment to excellence” within the communications industry.

Represented at the event by Mr. Kolawole Aliu, Abimbola expressed appreciation to the association for the honour, noting that the recognition reflects the collective effort of his team.
