International Women’s Day: Lagos APC Women Leader Eletu, Assistant Sonayon James Hail Women’s Role in Party Growth
LAGOS — The Lagos State Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Iyabosola Eletu, alongside the State Assistant Women Leader, Hon. Damilola Sonayon James, has congratulated women in the party across the state as the world marks International Women’s Day, praising their dedication to the growth of the party and development of Lagos State.
In a joint congratulatory message released on Saturday, the party leaders described APC women in Lagos as the backbone of the party’s strength and success, commending their resilience, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment to grassroots mobilisation and democratic participation.
According to the statement, women within the party have continued to demonstrate exceptional leadership and commitment, contributing significantly to the party’s achievements and consolidation of its political influence across the state.
Eletu and Sonayon James noted that APC women remain critical stakeholders in sustaining the party’s vision and ensuring continued progress in governance and political engagement.
They encouraged women in the party to remain united, steadfast, and proactive as preparations gradually build toward the next election cycle, urging them to intensify efforts in promoting the party’s agenda and strengthening its structures at all levels.
