LAGOS, February 28, 2026 — The Group Chief Executive Officer of Mediacraft Associates, John Ehiguese, has been conferred with a Special Recognition Award by the Photojournalists Association of Nigeria  (PJAN) at its 2026 Annual Symposium held in Lagos.

Ehiguese, popularly known as JE, was honoured in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the advancement of excellence in photojournalism in Nigeria.

The PJAN Annual Symposium, regarded as a flagship event of the association, convened key stakeholders, industry leaders and policymakers to deliberate on emerging trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the future of photojournalism in the country. This year’s theme, “Restoring Our Pride: The Role of Photojournalists in National Discourse,” was delivered by veteran journalist, Dare Babarinsa, and focused on the critical role photojournalists play in shaping national identity and influencing global perception.

Presenting the award, PJAN Chairman, Alaba Igbaraola, commended Ehiguese for his visionary leadership, transformative impact and commitment to excellence within the communications industry.
