 NAOSNP Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr, Urges National Reawakening and Unity

The National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) has congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, urging Nigerians to embrace unity, peace, and collective responsibility in rebuilding the nation.

The National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) felicitates with the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, calling on Nigerians to renew their commitment to national unity and development.

In a statement issued by the association’s National Public Relations Officer, Mr. Eric Elezuo, on behalf of the National President, Mayor Oki Samson, the group offered prayers for the continued wellbeing and prosperity of Muslim faithful across the country.

The association, a body of security-focused online journalists, noted that the period of Eid-el-Fitr presents an opportunity for Nigerians to come together in the spirit of peace, tolerance, and collective responsibility for the progress of the nation.

According to the statement, the discipline, sacrifice, and spiritual devotion demonstrated during the 30-day Ramadan fast should inspire a broader national reawakening aimed at healing divisions and fostering unity.

“We, as a body of journalists under the aegis of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), rejoice with all Nigerians, especially Muslims, as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr after a Ramadan period marked by sacrifice, discipline, and rededication,” the statement read.

The association emphasized that the season calls for sober reflection and renewed commitment to nation-building, urging citizens to sustain the values of patience, love, and tolerance cultivated during Ramadan.

It added that Nigeria remains the collective responsibility of its citizens, stressing that the country’s future depends on the actions and commitment of its people.

“We do not have another nation but Nigeria, and what we make of it is what it becomes. Therefore, we must not allow the spirit that guided us through the Ramadan period to fade,” the association said.

NAOSNP also called on the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure that government policies are designed with the welfare of the masses in mind.

The association noted that policies that fail to address the needs and challenges faced by ordinary Nigerians may not achieve meaningful impact.

The statement further noted that the 2026 Eid-el-Fitr celebration comes at a time when the Nigerian leader has recently received an honour from the government and people of the United Kingdom.

NAOSNP therefore urged Nigerians to use the festive period as a time for reconciliation, renewed hope, and a collective commitment to building a peaceful and prosperous nation.
