Ajose Attends CCC Good Friday Service in Makoko, Donates Food Items to Worshippers

A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, on Friday joined worshippers at the Celestial Church of Christ Good Friday Service held at its National Headquarters in Makoko, where he also donated food items to support members of the congregation.

The solemn Good Friday Service, which drew a large turnout of faithful, was conducted by His Eminence, Rev. Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa, the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.

Dr. Ajose’s presence at the service underscored his continued engagement with religious communities across Lagos State, as he joined congregants in reflection on the significance of Good Friday in the Christian faith.

The governorship hopeful was accompanied by members of the SMA Advisory/Strategic Council, including Chief Rasheed Shobaloju, Hon. Rafeequat Arinola Onabamiro, and Hon. Apesin Bola Gbabinjo.

As part of his visit, Dr. Ajose donated food items to the church, a gesture aimed at supporting worshippers and reinforcing the spirit of compassion and charity associated with the Easter season.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, associates of the aspirant noted that the outreach aligns with his broader commitment to community support and inclusive governance, particularly in underserved areas such as Makoko.

The visit formed part of activities marking the Good Friday observance, a key moment in the Christian calendar commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and symbolizing sacrifice, love, and redemption.
