Interswitch has been honoured with the Digital Finance Excellence Award by the Association of Professional Women Bankers Nigeria at its 2026 Marquee Event held in Lagos, recognising the company’s impact in advancing digital financial services and inclusion across Africa.

The award was presented at the high-profile event hosted at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, which brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and financial innovators. The event was themed “Redefining Power – Women Shaping the Future of Finance,” highlighting the growing influence of women in driving transformation within the financial sector.

Representing Interswitch at the ceremony, Oremeyi Akah, Chief Customer Experience Officer, received the award on behalf of the company. She also participated in a panel discussion where she shared insights on customer-centric innovation, digital transformation, and inclusive leadership in financial services.
