JMG Limited has commemorated World Creativity and Innovation Day 2026 by showcasing a series of impact-driven projects designed to address real-world challenges, reinforcing its commitment to using engineering innovation to improve lives and strengthen critical sectors of the Nigerian economy.

As the global community celebrates this year’s World Creativity and Innovation Day under the theme “Harnessing Creativity for Global Progress,” JMG Limited, a leading integrated electro-mechanical solutions company, is highlighting how practical innovation can deliver measurable social and economic value.

The company demonstrated this approach through several key projects executed in 2025, notably the installation of a solar hybrid power system at Agboyi Ketu Primary Health Care Centre in Lagos. The initiative has ensured uninterrupted electricity supply for essential medical services, including emergency care, maternity, immunization, and diagnostic operations.

Beyond healthcare, JMG expanded its footprint across multiple industries, driving efficiency and sustainability. In collaboration with Lambert Electromec, the company provided advanced cooling solutions for sections of West Africa’s largest data centre, strengthening the region’s digital infrastructure.

In the energy sector, JMG’s solar installations at NIPCO fuel stations are delivering significant cost savings, with estimates indicating annual reductions of about ₦44.4 million. The company also enhanced industrial performance through an air compressor upgrade at the Dangote Cement Plant, improving operational efficiency.

Retail operations have equally benefited, with JMG completing a power and cooling upgrade for Quick Buy Supermarket in Kano, resulting in improved business performance and enhanced customer experience.

Speaking on the company’s philosophy, Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, stressed the importance of practical innovation. “Innovation must solve real problems. It is not enough to build systems; those systems must improve lives,” she said.

World Creativity and Innovation Day, established by the United Nations, promotes the role of creative thinking in driving sustainable development. For JMG Limited, the occasion underscores its belief that true creativity lies not just in ideas, but in delivering tangible impact.
