Seye Oladejo Declares for House of Representatives, Picks APC Nomination Form for Mushin Constituency II

Former Lagos State spokesman of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Seye Oladejo, has formally entered the race for the House of Representatives seat for Mushin Constituency II, signalling a major development in the constituency’s political landscape ahead of the next general elections.

The political atmosphere in Mushin Constituency II became charged with renewed momentum on Tuesday as Seye Oladejo picked his nomination form under the platform of the APC, drawing significant attention from party stakeholders, community leaders, and supporters.

Oladejo, a seasoned politician and long-standing party stalwart, is widely recognised for his role as a former spokesperson of the APC in Lagos State, where he earned a reputation as a vocal advocate of the party’s policies and progressive agenda.

His formal declaration is being interpreted by observers as a strategic step in his political trajectory, underpinned by years of grassroots mobilisation and active participation in party affairs.

Speaking after obtaining the nomination form, Oladejo emphasised his commitment to delivering quality representation and responsive legislative service if elected.

“This aspiration is inspired by my enduring commitment to serve our people at a higher level. Mushin deserves a strong voice at the National Assembly—one that will vigorously pursue development, empowerment, and the welfare of our constituents,” he said.

He added that his experience, vision, and determination position him to make meaningful contributions to lawmaking and constituency development.

Supporters across the constituency have continued to rally behind his candidacy, describing him as a competent and experienced figure capable of attracting democratic dividends to Mushin Constituency II.

Party faithful and local stakeholders also point to his grassroots appeal and communication skills as key advantages that could strengthen the APC’s chances in the election.

With political activities gradually intensifying, analysts note that Oladejo’s entry into the race adds a new dynamic to the contest, raising expectations for a competitive primary and, ultimately, the general election.
