GTCO Food & Drink Festival 2026: Vendors Commend Customer Experience, Surge in Turnout
LAGOS – Vendors at the GTCO Food & Drink Festival 2026 have praised the event’s seamless organization, strong customer engagement, and improved turnout, describing the platform as a major boost for small food businesses.
A participating vendor operating an online bakery expressed satisfaction with the level of support provided by Guaranty Trust Holding Company, noting that proactive customer service and easy access to amenities such as Wi-Fi contributed to smooth business operations throughout the festival.
The vendor, who currently runs the business online, revealed plans to expand into a physical location, citing increased exposure and customer interest generated at the event as a motivating factor. Product offerings showcased included waffles, ice cream cakes, cookies, and other baked treats tailored to a wide consumer base.
Another vendor, Aina Orekoya, highlighted improved attendance compared to the previous day, with growing footfall translating into stronger sales and engagement. She noted that her brand, which focuses on jars, bakes, and cakes, is designed to create memorable dessert experiences for customers.
Orekoya also commended the festival organizers for providing free space and resources, enabling small businesses to showcase their products to a diverse audience. She described the atmosphere as vibrant and inclusive, attracting a mix of young and older attendees, and creating a lively marketplace environment.
Reflecting on her experience, the entrepreneur—who has operated at Oluwoloko for seven years and spent over a decade in the baking industry—said the 2026 edition has so far outperformed expectations, with optimism that momentum will continue through the remainder of the event.
The GTCO Food & Drink Festival remains one of Nigeria’s largest culinary gatherings, offering entrepreneurs a strategic platform to expand visibility, attract new customers, and strengthen brand presence in a competitive food market.
