HOA Street Legend 2026 Set to Ignite Igbogbo with 32-Team Street Football Tournament

Football enthusiasts and residents of Igbogbo are gearing up for an electrifying display of grassroots talent as the highly anticipated HOA Street Legend 2026 tournament prepares to kick off later this month.

Scheduled to hold from Sunday, May 24 to Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Olayinka Street, the three-day football fiesta will feature a thrilling 3-aside knockout competition involving 32 teams battling for supremacy and street glory.

Organisers described the competition as more than just a football tournament, saying it is designed to promote youth development, community unity, street culture, and sportsmanship under the leadership of Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun.

According to the committee, the tournament promises a fast-paced and highly competitive atmosphere where every match will be played with intensity, passion, and determination.

“This is street football at its purest. Every match is like a final, every goal matters, and every mistake can send a team home,” the organisers stated.

Registration for the competition has been fixed at ₦20,000 per team, with participation strictly limited to 32 teams on a first-come, first-served basis.

Interested teams and sponsors have been advised to contact the tournament coordinators, including Toheeb Oke, Ogunsola Seyefunmi, Lawanson Dapo, and Shodunke Lawy, for registration and partnership opportunities.

The organisers added that the tournament is expected to attract large crowds of football lovers, supporters, and youths from within and outside the community, as teams compete for the ultimate title of HOA Street Legend 2026 champion.

With excitement already building across the area, residents are anticipating what many have described as one of the biggest street football events ever staged in Igbogbo.
