Polaris Bank Bags Jobberman Award for Youth Employment, Talent Development



Polaris Bank has been recognised for its contributions to youth employment and workforce development in Nigeria after receiving the Private Sector Champion Award at the 2026 Jobberman Partners’ Convening held in Lagos.

The award, presented by Jobberman at Eko Hotel & Suites, honoured organisations demonstrating strong commitment to advancing youth employability through recruitment initiatives, graduate trainee programmes, executive hiring support, candidate assessment projects, and strategic partnerships aimed at creating sustainable career opportunities for young Nigerians.

The annual convening brought together stakeholders from the private sector, development organisations, and industry leaders to discuss practical solutions to Nigeria’s youth unemployment challenge.

Speaking during the event, Cynthia Sanyaolu, Head of Talent Management at Polaris Bank, said the recognition reflected the bank’s dedication to empowering young Nigerians through strategic workforce development initiatives.

According to her, Polaris Bank remains committed to creating platforms that enable young professionals to thrive economically and professionally while contributing to national development.

The 2026 convening, themed “From Impact to Action: Collectively Designing the Future of Youth Employment in Nigeria,” focused on strengthening collaboration between the private sector and key stakeholders to improve access to meaningful employment opportunities and equip young Nigerians with relevant skills for the evolving economy.

Jobberman commended Polaris Bank for what it described as measurable contributions to Nigeria’s employment ecosystem and its commitment to supporting youth employability and the future of work.

Over the years, Polaris Bank has invested in talent development initiatives, including its Polaris Graduate Intensive Training (PGIT) and Polaris Tech Ignite Training (TechIGNITE) programmes, designed to support career growth, workforce inclusion, and economic empowerment for young professionals.
