Promasidor Nigeria� has recorded another major achievement in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods sector after securing three prestigious industry recognitions for excellence in dairy production, brand performance, and corporate social responsibility.
At the Industry Awards, the company emerged as the “Outstanding Dairy Company of the Year,” while its flagship dairy brand, Cowbell, clinched the “Dairy Brand of the Year” award.
Promasidor Nigeria also received a Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the Advertisers Association of Nigeria Awards for Marketing Excellence, in recognition of its community development and youth empowerment initiatives.
The Industry Awards is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s leading platforms for recognising excellence, innovation, and contributions across critical sectors of the economy.
Speaking on the recognitions, the Chief Executive Officer of Promasidor Nigeria�, François Gillet, described the awards as a testament to the confidence Nigerians continue to place in the company’s brands.
According to him, the awards reflect the company’s long-standing commitment to delivering quality products that support nutrition and healthy living for consumers nationwide.
Cowbell remains one of Nigeria’s leading dairy brands, recognised for its affordability, accessibility, and nutritional value. Other products within Promasidor Nigeria’s portfolio include Loya Milk, Onga, Top Tea, Kremela, Twisco, and Miksi.
Beyond its product offerings, the company has continued to invest in programmes focused on education, nutrition, and youth development across Nigeria.
Through its Ikun Milk Day initiative, Promasidor supports school children with fresh milk sourced from the Ikun Dairy Farm, aimed at improving nutrition and learning outcomes among pupils.
The company has also sustained its “Harness Your Dream” career guidance programme for junior secondary school students across the country for nearly a decade.
In addition, Promasidor’s long-running educational platform, Cowbellpedia, now rebranded as Mega Minds, continues to promote excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education.
The initiative offers prizes valued at over ₦100 million, including cash rewards, laptops, educational materials, and product gifts to outstanding students nationwide.
