JMG Marks 28 Years of Innovation, Expands Footprint as Leading Electro-Mechanical Solutions Provider
LAGOS, NIGERIA – JMG Limited, Nigeria’s leading integrated electro-mechanical solutions company, is celebrating 28 years of innovation, growth, and industry leadership, marking a significant transformation from a power generator supplier into one of the nation’s most trusted providers of comprehensive engineering solutions.
Since its establishment in June 1998, the company has steadily evolved to meet the dynamic needs of businesses and industries across Nigeria. Today, JMG offers a wide range of services covering power generation, electrical infrastructure, cooling systems, elevators and escalators, compressed air solutions, and renewable energy technologies, supporting critical sectors of the economy with reliable and future-ready engineering solutions.
Reflecting on the milestone, Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, described the anniversary as a celebration of resilience, innovation, and the enduring confidence reposed in the company by customers and partners over the years.
“Twenty-eight years ago, JMG was founded with a mission to provide dependable power solutions. Today, we have grown into a comprehensive electro-mechanical solutions provider, delivering technologies that help businesses operate efficiently, sustainably, and competitively. As we look ahead, we remain committed to advancing innovation and supporting Nigeria’s industrial and economic development,” Jammal said.
A key feature of the company’s growth trajectory has been its increasing investment in sustainable energy solutions. Recently commissioned solar hybrid power systems at three NIPCO fuel stations located in Gwagwalada, Lekki, and Mpape now provide uninterrupted clean energy through integrated solar panels, lithium battery storage systems, and smart inverter technology.
According to the company, the installations have eliminated dependence on diesel-powered generation while delivering substantial annual energy cost savings, further supporting Nigeria’s transition to cleaner and more efficient energy solutions.
JMG has also strengthened its presence in the healthcare sector through the delivery of a comprehensive electrical power infrastructure solution for the African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) in Abuja. The project provides a reliable and scalable power system capable of supporting critical medical equipment, surgical theatres, and essential healthcare operations where uninterrupted electricity remains crucial.
In the area of vertical transportation, the company showcased its engineering expertise at the J.K. Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History in Lagos, where it installed advanced elevator and escalator systems designed to improve accessibility throughout the facility.
The customised solution addressed complex architectural requirements while enhancing mobility for elderly persons and visitors with physical disabilities.
Beyond its engineering accomplishments, JMG continues to prioritize community development through various corporate social responsibility initiatives. The company has supported Primary Healthcare Centres in Ketu and Bariga with interventions aimed at improving healthcare access and enhancing community wellbeing.
Its social impact programmes also extend to orphanage homes, where it provides essential supplies and support for vulnerable children, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive and sustainable development.
As it commemorates 28 years of operations, JMG Limited says it remains focused on expanding sustainable energy solutions, strengthening critical infrastructure, investing in technical expertise, and delivering innovative technologies that support businesses, institutions, and communities while contributing to Nigeria’s industrial and economic growth.
The anniversary milestone underscores the company’s evolution into a diversified engineering powerhouse and its continued commitment to driving sustainable development through innovation and technology.
