ADC House of Reps Candidate Urges Oshodi Residents to Register for PVC Before INEC July 26 Deadline

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) House of Representatives candidate for Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency, Waheed Akintunde Adetunji, has urged eligible residents of Oshodi to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise before the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) closes registration on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) House of Representatives candidate for Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency, Waheed Akintunde Adetunji (FCA, MBA, LL.B), has called on all eligible residents of Oshodi to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise ahead of the July 26, 2026 deadline announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In a statement issued on Thursday, Adetunji described the Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) as the most important tool for citizens seeking political change in the 2027 general elections.

He appealed particularly to women, youths, first-time voters and residents who have yet to register or obtain their PVCs to visit the nearest INEC registration centre without delay.

According to him, the approaching deadline leaves little time for eligible voters to complete the registration process, stressing that only registered voters with valid PVCs will be able to participate in the 2027 elections.

Adetunji said Oshodi deserves quality representation, improved employment opportunities, better market infrastructure and enhanced security, adding that achieving these goals depends on active participation in the electoral process.

He urged residents to turn out in large numbers to register, saying the 2027 elections present an opportunity for the people to shape the future of the constituency through their votes.

The ADC candidate also reaffirmed his commitment to people-centred representation and pledged that the party would continue to mobilise residents in support of good governance and grassroots development.

He advised prospective registrants seeking further information on the exercise to visit the INEC Local Government Area office in Oshodi.
