After 13 weeks of intense culinary competition, MasterChef Nigeria Season 1 will conclude on Sunday, July 19, 2026, with a grand finale that will see finalists Fads and Favy compete for the coveted title of the country's first-ever MasterChef Nigeria champion.

The highly anticipated finale, scheduled to air at 7:00 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family, will feature a high-stakes cook-down in which the two finalists will showcase their culinary expertise before renowned judges Chef Stone and Chef Eros.

Having emerged from thousands of aspiring home cooks who entered the inaugural edition of the competition, Fads and Favy earned their places in the final through weeks of demanding challenges that tested their creativity, technical skills, precision, and consistency.

The programme has also highlighted stories of resilience, innovation, and excellence, reinforcing Nigeria's growing influence in the global culinary space.

Organisers say the grand finale will celebrate Nigeria's vibrant food culture and inspire a new generation of chefs and food entrepreneurs.

The reality cooking show is produced by Primedia Group and enjoys the support of several corporate partners. Power Oil serves as the headline sponsor, while other sponsors include Indomie, Dano Milk, Malta Guinness, Sonia Tomato, Kiara Rice, Golden Penny Flour, Golden Penny Sugar, Golden Penny Garri, Golden Penny Semolina, Golden Penny Chocolate Spread, and Golden Penny Wheat.

Following its premiere broadcast on Sunday at 7:00 p.m., the grand finale will be rebroadcast on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase and Thursday at 12:00 p.m. on Africa Magic Family.
