Oyo Education Community Celebrates Release of Abducted Teachers, Pupils as OYOSUBEB Commends Security Agencies

In a statement personally signed on Friday, Adeniran thanked God for preserving the lives of the victims and ensuring their safe reunion with their families after their ordeal in captivity.
According to him, the victims' return has brought happiness to their families, colleagues, classmates and everyone who remained hopeful and prayerful throughout the period of their abduction.
The OYOSUBEB chairman congratulated teachers, pupils, parents, school administrators, education stakeholders and residents of the state, noting that their faith, resilience and unwavering hope had culminated in the successful release of the victims.
Adeniran also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde for their commitment and support during the rescue efforts.
He commended the security agencies for what he described as their professionalism, dedication and sacrifice, saying their efforts were instrumental in securing the freedom of the abducted teachers and pupils.
The OYOSUBEB chairman further acknowledged the support of religious leaders, traditional rulers, civil society organisations, media practitioners and other Nigerians who stood by the affected families through prayers, advocacy and encouragement.
While celebrating the victims' safe return, Adeniran called for sustained prayers and collective efforts toward achieving lasting peace and improved security across the country.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the government and education stakeholders to ensuring that schools remain safe and secure environments for teaching and learning.
"Once again, welcome home, our beloved teachers and pupils. The entire Oyo State education family is delighted to have you back safely," Adeniran said.
