 Adron Group Explores Strategic Partnership with Niger Foods to Develop Farm Estates in Niger

Adron Group has opened discussions with the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center on a strategic partnership aimed at expanding livestock production, agricultural investment and structured farm estate development in Niger State.

The Chairman/Group Chief Executive Officer of Adron Group, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, made the move during a strategic visit to the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center, where both organisations explored opportunities to develop a new model for integrated agricultural and real estate development.

A key focus of the engagement was the proposed establishment of specialised Adron Farm Estates across Niger State, with the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center expected to play a strategic facilitation role in the initiative.

The proposed farm estates are designed as purpose-built agricultural communities with structured land layouts, security and supporting infrastructure to facilitate commercial farming, livestock production and agro-processing.

The initiative represents an expansion of Adron Group’s experience in land development and estate infrastructure into the agricultural sector, particularly at a time when Nigeria is seeking innovative approaches to boost food production, strengthen local value chains and attract private-sector investment into agriculture.

During the visit, the Adron Group delegation toured the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center and held discussions with the facility’s leadership on opportunities within the livestock industry.

The discussions also highlighted the importance of modern infrastructure and organised land development in addressing some of the structural challenges confronting Nigeria’s agricultural sector, including fragmented production systems and limited access to infrastructure.

Under the proposed partnership, Adron Group would bring its expertise in land acquisition, estate planning and infrastructure development, while the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center would contribute agricultural and livestock production expertise, as well as its experience in developing the agribusiness value chain.

The partnership is expected to create opportunities for commercial farmers, livestock operators, agro-processors and other participants across the agricultural value chain.

Beyond increasing agricultural production, the proposed development could stimulate rural economic activities, generate employment, attract investment and support the emergence of new agricultural communities across Niger State.

The initiative could also contribute to positioning Niger State as a major destination for integrated agricultural and real estate investments, leveraging the state’s land resources and agricultural potential.

For Adron Group, the proposed partnership forms part of its broader exploration of innovative development models that combine real estate, infrastructure and productive economic activities to create sustainable communities.

As discussions continue, both organisations are expected to further explore the framework, scope and implementation of the proposed collaboration, which could provide a model for stronger private-sector participation in Nigeria’s agricultural development.
