 Lagos Police Declare Two Men Wanted Over Alleged Conspiracy, Murder in Ikoyi

The Lagos State Police Command, through the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba, has declared two men, Ajibola Obateru and Folawiyo Balogun Alagbado, wanted over their alleged involvement in a case of conspiracy and murder in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State.

The development was contained in separate wanted-person notices issued by the police and obtained by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP).

According to the police, Obateru, 32, who is approximately 5ft 9in tall, is allegedly a fleeing suspect who conspired with others to attack a victim, after which they allegedly took away the victim's body and personal belongings.

The police said the alleged offence was committed within the Ikoyi axis of Lagos.

Similarly, Balogun Alagbado, a 32-year-old Yoruba male of average height, is wanted for allegedly conspiring with others to attack and kill the victim before taking the body to an unknown location.

He is also accused of allegedly stealing the victim's personal belongings alongside his alleged accomplices.

The police identified the last known address of both suspects as Ibadan, Oyo State, and urged members of the public with information about their whereabouts to immediately notify the authorities.

The SCID, Panti, further appealed to anyone who sights either of the suspects to report immediately or hand them over to the nearest police station.

The police urged the public to exercise caution and provide credible information that could assist investigators in apprehending the fleeing suspects and bringing them to justice.
