Customs Area Controller of Apapa Jaiyeoba Command Bid Farewell After 35 Years of Service, hands over to Olomu 
Officers and personnel of the Nigeria Customs Service, Apapa Area Command, along with stakeholders in the vicinity, have praised the Customs Area Controller Apapa Command, Comptroller Babajide Jaiyeoba, as he bids farewell after 35 years of dedicated service.

A farewell celebration was organized at the Command to honor the CAC on Friday, 3 May 2024.

The gathering was attended by the Assistant Comptroller General of Customs/Zonal Coordinator Zone A, Hammi Swomen, Comptroller Ajibola Odusanya, Comptroller Caroline Ayo, Commissioner of Police, Western Port Authority Command, Olanrenwaju Ishola, representatives of sister agencies, stakeholders, as well as family and friends.
During his goodwill message, ACG Swomen extended congratulations to Comptroller Jaiyeoba on his retirement and also commended the recent advancements and accomplishments of the Command.

He expressed, "We are highly impressed by the innovations and progress that have taken place here since our last visit. I would like to express my gratitude to all the Officers and Personnel of the Command because, without your support, it would have been challenging to achieve all of this."
Guests, stakeholders, and officers described the Area Controller as a skilled administrator and leader who consistently displayed a willingness to mentor his subordinates.

In his address, Comptroller Jaiyeoba expressed his gratitude to God for a successful 35 years of exemplary service.

He stated, "I give all glory and honor to Almighty God. I also want to thank the Officers and Personnel of Apapa Command, as well as our stakeholders, for your cooperation. We presented our agenda, and you embraced it wholeheartedly, and together, we achieved success."

"I can confidently say that since January until now, there has been a significant increase in revenue collection. We set targets for ourselves, surpassed them, and then set new targets, which we also surpassed before we knew it."
