Prophet Godwin Ikuru Urges Nigerian Youths to Avoid Protests, Citing Divine Disapproval

In a recent address to the press in Lagos, Prophet Godwin Ikuru of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry has advised Nigerian youths against participating in protests, claiming that such actions are not supported by divine will. The prophet emphasized that the current Nigerian government is already taking steps to address the country's challenges, including economic hardship and food scarcity.

"The government is deeply concerned about the nation's situation," Prophet Ikuru stated. "The Asiwaju administration is taking measures like food importation, even though it contradicts some national policies, to alleviate the suffering of the people. This is a new policy aimed at improving the current circumstances. Nigerians should give the government some time, as God does not support these protests."

He further warned that protests could worsen the country's situation, referencing recent events in Kenya as a cautionary example. "Nigeria is facing significant challenges right now. Protests would only exacerbate our already difficult conditions," he said. "Look at Kenya, where protests paralyzed the economy, crippled the nation, and resulted in loss of lives. A similar scenario could occur here if protests are held. I urge Nigerian youths to heed God's message of love and refrain from participating in any planned demonstrations."

The prophet's remarks come amid rising public dissatisfaction and planned protests, as citizens call for more decisive actions to address economic and social issues in Nigeria.
