Ibeju-Lekki LG Sponsors 13 Candidates for Nigerian Army Recruitment Screening
In a significant stride towards youth empowerment and national development, the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, led by Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has sponsored 13 indigenous candidates to participate in the Nigerian Army's 88th Regular Recruit Intakes (88RRI) screening exercise.
The candidates, who emerged successfully from the preliminary selection process, have joined others at the Ikeja Military Cantonment for the screening. Upon completing the rigorous training exercises, they will advance to higher responsibilities within the military.
This initiative follows a similar achievement recorded last year under the same administration, where successful recruits were deployed to various commands nationwide to serve the country.
Hon. Olowa’s administration continues to demonstrate its commitment to fostering opportunities for local residents while upholding the Federal Character principle and contributing meaningfully to nation-building.
The sponsorship underscores the local government’s dedication to supporting the youth and ensuring their active participation in the development of the nation.
