A & I Precious Jewel School Students Visit Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Secretariat
Students of A & I Precious Jewel School embarked on an exciting excursion to the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Council Secretariat, where they met with the Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa. The chairman emphasized the importance of education, urging the students to prioritize their academic pursuits as it is the greatest legacy they can inherit.
Hon. Olowa took the opportunity to educate the students on government administration, explaining the roles of the three arms of government: the Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary. The students were also given a tour of the secretariat, accompanied by Hon. Ogungbo Temitope Sofwan, Supervisor for Education.
In his remarks, Hon. Sofwan encouraged the students to be good ambassadors and uphold the ideals shared by the Executive Chairman. The event was also attended by Mrs. Belo, Head of the Education Department, and other staff members.
This educational excursion aimed to broaden the students' understanding of governance and inspire them to become active citizens. The visit was facilitated by the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Council, led by Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa.
