First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Mourns Dr. Blessing Eyakenyi Adewunmi

Abuja, Nigeria – The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Dr. Blessing Eyakenyi Adewunmi, daughter of the Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency Akon Eyakenyi.

In a heartfelt condolence message, the First Lady described Dr. Blessing’s death as a painful and profound loss. She extended her sympathies to the deceased’s husband, parents, and entire family, praying for divine comfort and strength in their time of grief.

Quoting 1 Thessalonians 5:18, she urged the bereaved family to find solace in faith, stating: “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” She also referenced Job 1:21, saying, “The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.”

Senator Tinubu prayed that these words of scripture would bring peace and resilience to the family, asking God to grant them the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.

She concluded her message by praying for the peaceful repose of Dr. Blessing’s soul.
