Senator Oluremi Tinubu Condoles with Victims of Niger State Tanker Explosion
The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has expressed deep sadness over the tragic fuel tanker explosion that occurred on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Dikko Junction in Niger State. The unfortunate incident claimed several lives and left many others injured.
In her heartfelt condolence message, the First Lady extended her sympathies to the Governor of Niger State, His Excellency Mohammed Umar Bago, the bereaved families, loved ones of the victims, and the entire people of Niger State.
“I urge everyone to please be more cautious and avoid accident scenes, especially those involving vehicles transporting inflammable substances, due to the high risks involved,” she advised, emphasizing the need for safety around such hazardous situations.
The First Lady offered prayers for the repose of the departed souls and for Almighty God to grant their families the fortitude to bear the painful loss. She also prayed for the swift recovery of those injured in the explosion.
