A New Community Healthcare Centre for Nawfia as Soludo Completes Afor Nawfia Bypass Road

Governor Charles Soludo continues his commitment to infrastructure development in Anambra State with the construction of a primary healthcare centre for the Nawfia community and the successful completion of the Afor Nawfia Bypass, connecting the area to the Onitsha-Enugu Expressway in Njikoka Local Government Area (LGA).

Daniel Okoye, the President-General of Nawfia, highlighted the poor state of the road before its reconstruction, noting that it was nearly impassable during the rainy season.

"But now, we can testify that the newly constructed road meets 21st-century standards. It is unlike anything we have seen before, and we thank our able and dynamic Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, for remembering the Nawfia community," Okoye stated.

Commending the road project, Igwe Ambassador Dr. Ogochukwu Daniel Obele, the traditional ruler of Nawfia, emphasized its significance as the only major road passing through the town. He praised the quality of the work and its completion in less than six months. He also lauded Governor Soludo’s administration for appointing two Nawfia indigenes to key positions: Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and Double Chief Chinedu Nwoye Glamour as State Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor.

Hon. Prince Chidolue John Clarance Nwankwo, Secretary of Njikoka LGA, also applauded Soludo for his free education initiative, which benefits children in Nawfia and across all 177 communities in Anambra State.

"We in Nawfia deeply appreciate your efforts and commitment to improving our community," Nwankwo stated.

According to Law Mefor, the Honourable Commissioner for Information, the ongoing projects in Nawfia are part of Governor Soludo’s broader vision for development across Anambra State.

"Governor Soludo is dedicated to spreading solutions across Anambra, and these projects in Nawfia are a testament to his pragmatic and transformative leadership," Mefor stated.

The Soludo administration continues to receive widespread commendation for its rapid infrastructural strides, reinforcing its commitment to community development and quality service delivery across the state.
