Fidelity Bank Unveils Innovative SME Hub with Creative Studios

Lagos, Nigeria – Fidelity Bank Plc is set to launch the Fidelity SME Hub, a state-of-the-art facility designed to empower small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs in Nigeria’s creative sector.

The multipurpose hub, strategically located in Lagos, will provide SMEs with access to training halls, meeting rooms, networking spaces, and stakeholder engagement programs. It will also feature fully equipped creative studios, including podcast rooms, music production suites, photography labs, and content creation spaces.

According to Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank, the initiative aligns with the bank’s longstanding commitment to supporting small businesses beyond financial services.

“For nearly four decades, Fidelity Bank has been at the forefront of SME development, recognizing that these businesses require more than just funding. The Fidelity SME Hub is our latest non-financial initiative, designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and capacity building—essential elements for strengthening Nigeria’s SME ecosystem and driving economic growth,” she stated.

Empowering SMEs and Creatives

The hub will offer specialized courses in Financial Management & Investment Readiness, Digital Transformation, Technology Adoption, Marketing, Branding, and Business Growth Strategies. Additionally, a creative academy will be established to train entrepreneurs in Music Production, the Business of Music, Website Design, Mobile Videography, Disc Jockeying, and Photography.

A standout feature of the hub is Creativerse, a dedicated space for content creators and digital entrepreneurs. Through this platform, Fidelity Bank aims to unlock new revenue streams in entertainment, media, and the arts—industries that already contribute 2.3% to Nigeria’s GDP.

“Beyond SME empowerment, the Fidelity SME Hub will support Nigeria’s economic diversification drive by enhancing non-oil exports and increasing SMEs’ contribution to the nation’s GDP,” Onyeali-Ikpe added.
