First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Mourns Victims of Zamfara Islamic School Fire, Calls for Safety Measures

Abuja, Nigeria – The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic fire incident that claimed 17 lives at an Islamic school in Zamfara State.

In a statement, Senator Tinubu extended her condolences to Governor Dauda Lawal, the families of the victims, and the people of Zamfara State, praying for strength and comfort for those affected by the devastating loss.

“I pray that Allah grants the families and loved ones of the departed the fortitude to bear this painful loss. May the souls of the deceased find eternal rest in Aljanah Firdaus,” she stated.

The First Lady also emphasized the need for enhanced safety measures in public facilities to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

“This heartbreaking incident serves as a reminder of the importance of precautionary safety measures in all public spaces. I pray that such a tragedy never reoccurs, not only in Zamfara State but across Nigeria,” she added.
