First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Visits Former Nigerian Leaders in Minna
The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit to former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd), at his residence in Minna, Niger State.
Accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, the First Lady visited to check on the former leader’s well-being. The visit included a closed-door meeting between Senator Tinubu and General Babangida.
Similarly, the First Lady proceeded to the residence of former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd), for another courtesy visit. General Abubakar, alongside his wife, warmly received Senator Tinubu and expressed his appreciation for her visit. He described it as a thoughtful gesture, highlighting the significance of such engagements.
The visits reflect the First Lady’s commitment to fostering national unity and maintaining relationships with past leaders.
