SANEF Limited Appoints Uche Uzoebo as New Managing Director/CEO  

Lagos, Nigeria – February 24, 2025 Shared Agent Network Expansion Facilities (SANEF) Limited has announced the appointment of Mrs. Uche Uzoebo as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective February 2025.

Uzoebo takes over from Mrs. Ronke Kuye, the pioneer CEO, who played a pivotal role in the growth and success of SANEF. Under Kuye’s leadership, the organization significantly expanded financial inclusion and agent banking in Nigeria.

With over two decades of experience in banking and financial services, Uzoebo brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Before this appointment, she served as SANEF’s Chief Distribution and Stakeholder Engagement Officer since the company’s inception. She was instrumental in driving business growth, expanding strategic partnerships, and implementing key initiatives in agent expansion, product development, technology solutions, policy advocacy, and financial literacy.

A recognized expert in financial inclusion, digital transformation, and women empowerment, Uzoebo has collaborated with regulators, banks, financial service providers, government agencies, and NGOs to enhance financial access points and drive digital financial services. Her leadership has contributed significantly to economic and financial inclusion in Nigeria.

As a certified product manager and an honorary senior member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Uzoebo is also a fellow of Acumen West Africa and The Microfinance Association, UK. Her efforts in policy and strategic management interventions have positioned her as a thought leader in fintech and financial inclusion.

Under her leadership, SANEF Limited aims to continue expanding financial inclusion, leveraging innovative technology solutions, and strengthening stakeholder engagement to drive economic growth.
