IGP Egbetokun, Rwandan Police Chief Commend Proforce, Advocate Stronger Security Collaboration

The Inspector-General of Police of Nigeria, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, and his Rwandan counterpart, CG Felix Namuhoranye, have commended Proforce Limited, a leading indigenous manufacturer of armored personnel carriers and security equipment, for its contributions to national and regional security.

During a recent tour of Proforce’s facility in Ogun State, the police chiefs lauded the company’s role in enhancing Nigeria’s security architecture and its growing reputation as a global supplier of advanced defense solutions. The visit was hosted by Engr. Adetokunbo Ogundeyin, Group Managing Director/CEO of Proforce Limited.

Speaking during the tour, IGP Egbetokun praised Proforce for positioning Nigeria as a key player in the defense industry. He highlighted the company’s export of armored vehicles to countries such as Rwanda and South Sudan, noting that such initiatives boost foreign exchange earnings and contribute to economic growth.

"Proforce is not only strengthening our security framework but also elevating Nigeria’s status in the global defense sector. Their contributions are crucial in tackling security challenges while driving economic progress," Egbetokun stated.

The visit also underscored the increasing collaboration between Nigeria and Rwanda in security technology and intelligence sharing. CG Namuhoranye expressed admiration for Proforce’s innovation and reaffirmed Rwanda’s commitment to strengthening security ties with Nigeria.
