AIG Margaret Ochalla Honored as One of 65 Influential Women in Africa

Lagos, March 31, 2025 – Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Margaret Ochalla, who heads the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Lagos, has been recognized as one of 65 women making a significant impact across Africa.

At the prestigious event, AIG Ochalla was celebrated for her outstanding leadership and substantial contributions to justice, law enforcement, and crime prevention. Her work in community policing and intelligence-driven crime-fighting strategies has positioned her as a key figure in strengthening security and public trust in law enforcement.

Arise TV’s Chairman, Nduka Obaigbena, CON, commended AIG Ochalla as a seasoned officer of the Nigerian Police Force, noting her career has been defined by resilience, discipline, and impactful results. He highlighted her role in spearheading initiatives to reduce violent crime and her advocacy for gender inclusion within the police force.
