Concerned Nations Initiative Delegates Visit Ibeju-Lekki Chairman, Pledge Support for Grassroots Development


On Wednesday, May 22, 2025, a delegation from the Concerned Nations Initiative (CNI) paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, at the Council Secretariat.

The team, led by the Founder and Director General, Mr. Idris Tele Olukoya, expressed their intention to collaborate with the local government in promoting grassroots development and strengthening good governance in the area.

While receiving the delegation, Hon. Olowa commended Mr. Olukoya for his unwavering commitment to community development. He noted that the CNI's interest in the progress of Ibeju-Lekki aligns with his administration's vision for sustainable development. The Council boss further assured that his second term, if granted by the electorate, would usher in greater dividends of democracy, including enhanced infrastructure and improved social welfare initiatives.

In his remarks, Mr. Olukoya expressed appreciation for the warm reception by the Chairman. He praised Hon. Olowa’s dedication to quality service delivery and reaffirmed the organization’s willingness to support and partner with the local government in areas that promote transparency, development, and civic engagement.

As a gesture of goodwill, the delegation presented a portrait to the Executive Chairman. Other members of the CNI team present included Mr. Lawal Afeez (General Secretary), Mrs. Yemisi Tanwa Folajinmi (Publicity Secretary), Mr. Teslim Sultan, and Ms. Sangosanya Maimunat.
